Nature Tourism is based on the natural attractions of a geographical area. It involves visiting fragile, pristine, and relatively undisturbed natural areas. Nature tourism is the alternative to standard commercial tourism. It means responsible travel to natural areas, conserving the environment, and improving the well-being of the local people.
Nature-based tourism enables the local communities to conserve wildlife habitats upon which the industry depends. It promotes conservation by increasing the value on natural areas. As nature tourism becomes more important to the local economy, communities have additional incentives to conserve their remaining natural areas for the lovers of nature.
