Welcome to Serbia

Regiones and Cities Events Places Activities Experience People

The countryside of Serbia is diverse and beautiful. Fruška Gora National Park is the perfect location for a summer’s hike while the Balkan Kopaonik National Park has excellent ski slopes in the winter. In sports, football is fiercely popular with fiery and often violent derbies between Belgrade’s Red Star and FK Partizan; Novi Sad’s FK Vojvodina is more sedate. Another major spectator sport is basketball.
