Overview
Bridlington is a very popular coastal town on the Holderness Coast of the North Sea. It's also known as the "Lobster Capital of Europe". Bridlington belongs to the ceremonial county of the East Riding of Yorkshire.
Description
Kitesurfing is popular at Bridlington and it can be done at the South Cliff end of the beach, but it's strictly off-limits north of the Spa. While parking at the park you can ride directly in it enjoying all the beauties. Anything South of the park is fair game.
Fraisthorpe Beach to the south is much more popular than Bridlington for kitesurfing, but in many cases the traveller can choose Bridlington as the besr variant for his activities. Very often high tide ( not a great amount of beaches left) and SSW wind (as the direction of the beach can curve around) can be observed in these places. In summer months Bridlington is rather overcrowded that's why Fraisthorpe can be better variant.
