When you become an adult, there’s no sudden, magic transformation that happens, telling you all you can do from here on out for fun is host wine and cheese parties. Similarly, when you’re a kid, it doesn’t all have to be about running around like a headless chicken (although that’s pretty fun). The truth is: Fun is fun. It’s universal. Dirt Jumping is derived from a cross between mountain bike riding and BMX for it requires that the rider performs maneuvers and tricks while midair after the jump which is usually considerably higher than those of its parent disciplines.
Extreme Ironing is an extreme and curious sport discipline in which people take ironing boards with them to far locations. It’s a regulatory entity, the Extreme Ironing Bureau, which defines extreme ironing as "the latest danger sport that combines the thrills of extreme outdoor activity with the satisfaction of a well-pressed shirt.”  They assure it is not a joke at all.
