Overview
Zamami is a village located in Shimajiri District, Okinawa Prefecture, Japan. The village consists of more than 20 islands approximately 40 kilometers west of the prefectural capital of Naha.
Description
Zamami-Jima, just across the bay, is only slightly more developed. The island has its own share of lovely beaches, with great diving and snorkeling in the surrounding waters including a handful of delightful, even smaller offshore islands, which are accessible with the help of local guides. Plentiful tour options are available.
