Overview
Warburton or Warburton Ranges is an Indigenous Australian community in Western Australia, just to the south of the Gibson Desert and located on the Great Central Road and Gunbarrel Highway. At the 2016 census, Warburton had a population of 576.
Description
The riverside town of Warburton has a very different feel from its Lower Valley neighbours – most visitors here are more interested in communing with nature than sipping chardonnay. The Yarra River flows right through town and a lovely 6km walking and cycling trail follows both sides of the river.
