Description
Malaysia's oldest, largest and most popular national park straddles the borders of Pahang, Kelantan and Terengganu in an area spanning a colossal 4343 sq km: welcome to Malaysia's greatest swath of continuous lowland dipterocarp rainforest. Since 1939, Taman Negara (which means national park in Bahasa Malaysia) has been a haven for an astonishing range of tropical flora and a vast variety of wildlife, including elephants, tigers, leopards, tapirs and flying squirrels.
