Overview
The town of Tairua is on the east coast of the Coromandel Peninsula in the North Island of New Zealand. It lies at the mouth of the Tairua River on its north bank and on the small Paku Peninsula.
Description
Tairua is a Māori name which translates literally as tai: tides, rua: two.
In Tairua and surrounding areas you can expect to find some of New Zealands most spectacular beaches. We have outstanding fishing spots and islands within easy reach from the Marina, with safe anchorages and bays. The Marina is protected from ocean swells.
We offer facilities and services for both visiting vessels and private berth owners.
