The Selva Verde Lodge is nestled in the lowland tropical rainforest of Costa Rica, in Puerto Viejo de Sarapiqui, along the Sarapiqui River. The lodge is known as being the pioneer of the eco-tourism movement in Costa Rica.

The Selva Verde Lodge boasts an amazing 500 acres of critical rainforest reserve, an oasis of complete enchantment and serenity. The lodge features a suspension bridge connecting the eco-lodge to the rainforest reserve. On the grounds enjoy a stroll along thatched walkways graced with tropical plants. An inviting pool near the dining room area awaits guests looking for a cool place to relax and cool down after an adventurous day of rainforest exploration. The restaurant is near the river, a wonderful spot for delicious local meals.
