Description
The Apurímac is the source of the world's largest river system, the Amazon River. The south-western mountain ranges of Peru start the rise of the river. Flowing through gorges nearly twice as deep as the Grand Canyon, rapids and waterfalls interrupt the course of destination, only adding to the Apurímac’s diversity and scenic path.
