Bocas del Toro Town, or just Bocas Town, is the capital of Bocas del Toro Province, in Panama. It's at the southern tip of Isla Colón, in the Caribbean Sea. Nearby beaches include sheltered Starfish Beach, to the northwest.

Coiba Island is part of Panama, off the country's Pacific Coast, in the Gulf of Chiriquí. Once a penal colony, it's now part of Coiba National Park, which is known for its diverse marine life and jungle animals including white-faced monkeys.

The Chiriquí Viejo River is a river in Panama. It should not be confused with the Chiriquí Nuevo to the east. There are several dams and hydroelectric projects on this river, including the Bajo de Mina and Baitún.

The Volcán Barú is an active stratovolcano and the tallest mountain in Panama, at 3,474 meters high. It lies about 35 km off the border of Costa Rica. It is also the twelfth highest peak in Central America.
