Bako National Park

 
Overview

Bako National Park is a national park in Kuching Division, Sarawak, Malaysia. Established in 1957, it is the oldest national park in Sarawak.

Description

It covers an area of 27.27 square kilometres at the tip of the Muara Tebas peninsula at the mouth of the Bako and Kuching Rivers. 



The smallest but oldest of all Sarawak’s national parks, the rivers and jungles of Bako National Park are easily accessible by boat on a day trip from Kuching.



Views of the rocky outcrops of this wonderful coastal park are brought into sharp focus by sailing among the mangroves and landing to explore on foot.
