The Toro River , sometimes called the Yellow Bull River, is a river in Costa Rica , belonging to the northern sub-slope of the Caribbean Sea slope.

Description

A gorgeous road snakes northeast out of Zarcero, climbing steeply through hillsides dotted with family dairy farms, then plunging abruptly into the stunning valley of the Río Toro, surrounded by the lower reaches of the area’s cloud-forest ecosystem. If you were looking for a little piece of Costa Rica where everybody knows everybody, then look no further. This small town (full name: Bajos del Toro Amarillo) is rural idyll at its finest.
