Description
Held annually over three days, the event’s historic grounds are at the world-famous Nürburgring motorsports circuit in Nürburg, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany, which previously hosted the F1 grand prix.The festival was originally intended to be just a one-time event celebrating the launch of the newer and shorter race track back in 1985. But due to a surprising massive turnout of over 75,000 members, organizers decided to make it a yearly festival which is now one of the world’s biggest and most well-attended rock music events. Today, over 150,000 people from all over the world come to Germany to see rock legends perform each year.
