One of the most happening events in Germany is a marathon that started over half a century ago. The Berlin Marathon happens to be one of the biggest and most well-known marathons worldwide.
Description
The race was founded by a Berlin baker, named Horst Milde in 1974.More than 40,000 participants along with millions of spectators from over 120 countries gather on the course every year. Their cheers are accompanied by 70 live bands and dance groups performing in procession. The participants race through Brandenburg Gate and Victory Column.Taking part in the Berlin Marathon is one of the most exciting and memorable experiences for all. The path of the marathon is a flat ground in the form of a wide-set looping course, and the running event is organized during mild pleasant weather.

Around eleven world records have been broken in this marathon, and maybe you could break the twelfth. Eliud Kipchoges finished the marathon with a new world record by running 2:01:39 in 2018.A 42-kilometer race filled with excitement and set in a fantastic atmosphere boosts the energy of participants as they run through Brandenburg gate, past the grandstands on their last 400 meters to reach the finish line on the Boulevard “Strasse des 17. Juni”.Aid stations can be found at small intervals on the right-hand side of the course, which offer refreshments to all participants including tea, juices, water, fruits, and energy bars. A number of toilet cabins will also be installed at the end of every refreshment station as well as at the start and finish area. With as many facilities as festivities, the Berlin Marathon is fully equipped to be one of the best athletic events you ever participate in.
