A Segway is a two-wheel transportation vehicle which has a step board on connecting over both wheel and a vertical steering handlebar on the middle that rises up to the torso of the rider. They were introduced in 2001 and were meant to be used as transportation for medical patients. Its popularity soon caught on with law enforcement to use it as a way crowd monitoring that doesn't tire out the officers nearly as much as walking. Corporate America also developed a fondness for them by making them popular in vast industrial complexes with much ground to cover.

For tourism, Segway is used as a relatively slow velocity method of personal transportation where the tourist hops on it and has a chance of admiring the whole city by rolling through the sidewalks while rarely getting many tires, ideal for older tourists.
