Powered paragliding, or paramotoring as it is also called, is an ultralight aviation flight in which a motor (paramotor) on the pilot’s back provides the correct thrust for takeoff with the help of an adapted paraglider or a paramotor wing.

Most of the countries, including the United States, possess no licence required for performing powered paragliding as it has minimal regulation. Flying in this manner has its own benefits among them: both low and slow flight with safety, flying with an ‘open’ feel, minimal equipments, low maintenance costs, good portability, etc.
